Step 2:Presentation
1. Lead in:
T: You are great! Do you like vegetables? We usually eat some vegetables and meat everyday. Because they are healthy for us. This class , I’ll introduce some vegetables and meat for you! Oh, look, I have a riddles .(出示Let’s start部分的谜语。)
2.用谜语引出单词 tomato , potato
Riddle1:It’s red and round. It grow on the ground. It looks like an apple, but it isn’t an apple.What’s it?
S: tomato. 生猜出后,师出示词卡,指名拼读。
师按音节教读:tomato
Riddle2: It’s brown. French fries are made of them. What is it ?
S2: potato
potato (分节读和记)
板书 tomato, potato,让学生找出记忆规律,对比记忆两个单词。
设计意图:食物是学生很感兴趣的一个话题,本课中主要是蔬菜和肉类,tomato, potato是学生已学过的,因此用谜语来呈现单词,既增加了趣味性,又锻炼了学生的听力,并让学生在动脑中获得了自信。
3.利用实物教授单词:eggplant, green beans, cabbage, fish , tofu.
(1)T: look, What’s this ? Ss: egg. And what’s this ? eggplant.
eggplant: egg/ / plant / / eggplant(把长单词分成两部分教授)
T: Can you describe it ?
S1: It’s purple. I like eggplant.
设计意图:将单词融入句子学习,让学生在描述实物的过程中回想旧知同时将学生能力拔高。
(2)实物引出:green beans green/ / bean/ / green beans
Ss: It’s green . I like green beans .\ I don’t like green beans.
