A: Greeting!
Say Good morning, Good afternoon, How are you today, Fine, thanks.
Play 鈥渟inan? says鈥
Write one, two, three, four and five on the blackboard.
Point to the words. Say them a few times.
New Concepts
① Aa Bb Cc Dd
Student book: L6 N1
In Chinese, explain that the English alphabet has 26 letters and that these are the first four.
Explain that each other has two sizes. The big size has special uses in names, titles and sentences. Show the class examples in the student book of capital letters at the beginning of names, titles and sentences.
Explain that each letter makes a special sound. A makes two sounds: short and long. Explain that you can hear the short A sound at the beginning of the word apple. Write Apple and apple on the blackboard, and translate its meaning. The demonstrate the long A sound: name, same.
② Song: 鈥淎BC song鈥:
In Chinese, explain that every word in the English language comes from the twenty-six letters of the alphabet. Tell the students that after today鈥檚 lesson. They will have learned all of these in a song that most Canadian children learn in school. Next, teach the song, you might translate the general meaning.
③ Good-bye, Bye, See you later
教学心得:这四个字母对于学生来说太容易了,在上课之前,我动手制作了A B C D 这四个字母的大卡片,它们分别是四种不同的颜色,这样既美观,又为下几节课学习颜色奠定了基础。于是,果不出所料,学生一看到几乎和他们个头差不多的鈥溩帜溉蒜潱樾鞫己芨哒牵谱疟究蔚慕萄勘晁忱恼箍谌4班不仅完成了教学目标,还有很多同学表演了歌曲、猜字母等谜语节目,其他的班级稍稍逊色一些,但我相信,他们在今后的学习中会不断进步的。
