　　Step 1. Class Opening and Review

　　Free talk between Danny and students by using the structures they learnt before. Lead a dialogue such as:

　　T: Hi, I'm Danny. How are you?

　　Ss:Fine, thanks.

　　T: What is your name?

　　Ss: My name is _____.

　　T:What is this?

　　Ss:This is a/an______.

　　Step2. Introduce and Demonstrate

　　(1)Learn letter A and the word apple.

　　First teach how to read and write the letter A with the card including the big letter and the small letter. And write the letter on the

　　blackboard.

　　Then, take out a real apple under the desk , stick the printed word apple on it.
