Ⅰ. Let all students to read the passage as quickly as they can.
【设计意图】通过让学生比赛读短文 调动他们阅读的兴趣, 同时也能把学生的注意力更好地集中在短文中。
Ⅱ.Find out the key sentence in the passage to answer the question,
Question: Who is my cousin writing to?
Ⅲ. Learning how to answer the questions
1. Read the questions once and find out the key words.
2. Read the questions again and find out the key sentences in the passage.
3. Answer the questions and write down the answers with the tips.
4. Check the answers.
【设计意图】通过指导学生读问题,找关键句和回答问题,让学生学会阅读的技巧和方法,最后让学生把学到的阅读的技巧和方法运用到练习中。
Step 4:
1. Introduce my mother

2. Make an example for the writing or my mother.
3. Let students Introduce their mother.
4. Let students writing the passage of their mother.

并结合本单元及以前所学知识来进行写作,从而巩固所学知识又锻炼写作能力。
