  Pictures, word cards, computer ,tape

  Teaching methods:

  Direct method, games, audio-lingual method

  Teaching steps:

  Step 1 Warming up

  1.Greetings.

  2.A game: Flash card

  Step 2 Presentation and drill

  1.T It`s too hot. I want to swim. Where can I go?

  Teach the word:

  pool Teacher shows pictures quickly, and make students put up hands and say out the words on them. Look and retell the story in Part A. T: Do you want to swim in the sea. Is it exciting? Ss: Yes. T: It`s more exciting than swimming in a pool. Write out and learn to read鈥 t`s more exciting than swimming in a pool.

  2.Group work: Describe the pictures.

  3.Finish the excercises in Part D.

  Step 3 Practice Let's find out

  以小组为单位找自己学的一些特殊形容词, 写下它们的原形及比较级。 并用这些比较级描述 事物。汇报结果。

  Step 4 Consolidation

  1.A game : Whm can say more? 课件展示,让学生运用比较级描述。

  2.Feedback 3.Finish exercises.

  Step 5 Assignment Retell the text in Part A.
