教学内容:
Unit 1 Dad played the erhu.
教学目标:
(1)知识目标
学会说、读、写新单词:concert , Chinese ,instrument, CD;懂读 一些乐器的名称:erhu , pipa , guitar ,violin 等等,且要学会重点句型:鈥漌hat did they play?鈥 和 鈥淒ad played the erhu. /Mum played the pipa.鈥
(2)能力目标
1:学会用一般过去式表达过去发生的事。
2:要懂得如何用英语来表达乐器,而且要学会如何运用重点 句型:鈥漌hat did they /he/she play?鈥 和 鈥淭hey /he/she played鈥︹︹ 来进行问答。
(3)情感目标
培养学生对乐器的认识,同时激发他们学习英语的兴趣。
教学重、难点:
1、重点:学会新的单词和重点句型,以及一些乐器的英语表达。
2、难点:如何运用一般过去式表达过去发生的事,如何正确运用重点句型来进 行问答。

教学过程:
(一)Step one :Warming up
1. Greetings: T: 鈥淕ood morning, boys and girls .How are you today?鈥 Ss: 鈥淕ood morning, Ms Li .Fine, thank you! And you? 鈥 T:鈥 I鈥檓 fine, too. Thank you! Sit down, please!鈥 T:鈥漌hat鈥檚 the weather like today?鈥 Ss: 鈥淚t鈥檚 sunny.鈥
2. Let鈥檚 sing a song together:鈥滺ickory, Dickory, Dock.鈥
3. Review: Find the right pass tense. (Show the ppt, and I point, you say together) Is鈥攚as ,run鈥攔an ,say鈥攕aid ,eat鈥攁te ,are鈥攚ere ,shout鈥攕houted ,play鈥攑layed , Laugh鈥攍aughed.
(二)Step two :Preparation
1. Ask and answer (show the pictures) T: 鈥淟ook! Where did you go yesterday?鈥 Ss:鈥滻 went to鈥Α.鈥潱ˋsk students to answer) T: 鈥淥k, do you know where did I go yesterday?鈥 Ss.鈥Α T:鈥滾et me tell you, I went to a concert yesterday.鈥
2. Show a ppt T: 鈥淟ook! What鈥檚 this?鈥 Ss: 鈥淚t鈥檚 a Chinese concert. 鈥湥⊿how the words: concert /Chinese one by one, and then teach them, then practice by together/groups/one by one)
3. Listen and guess (Show the ppt)
(1) T:鈥 listen and guess what it is? 鈥湥ˋsk students to guess, and then show the pictures for them. And practice the words: erhu/violin/pipa/guitar. And teach the sentences:鈥 It鈥檚 a Chinese instrument. /It looks like ......鈥潯hen practice by together/groups/one by one)
(2) Show a ppt: for CD T:鈥 Look! What are they?鈥 Ss:鈥 CD.鈥 T: 鈥淵es, great!鈥
(三) Step three: Drill
1. Show the pictures T: 鈥淟ook! What did he/she play? 鈥湥ˋsk students to answer and then practice by together/groups/one by one) Ss鈥潯..鈥
2. Show a ppt: What did they play? T:鈥 Look! What did Dad/Mum play?鈥 (Ask students to answer) Ss鈥潯..鈥
3. Play a game T:鈥 Now, let鈥檚 play a game. I want two students to come here. One student acts cut some actions, and another one asks classmates: 鈥淲hat did he/she play? 鈥淭hen exchange, understand?鈥 Ss:鈥 Yes!鈥
(四) Step four : Practice
1. Listen and repeat the text, and then find the answers for the questions. (Firstly, ask students to answer and then show the answers) A: 鈥淲hat did Dad play?鈥 B: 鈥淲hat did Mum play?鈥
2. Ask students to read the text together, and then in roles.
3. Let鈥檚 practice: show the pictures (ask students to practice in pairs, one asks and another one answers)
(五)Step five :Consolidation
1. Summary: read the new words and key sentences twice.
2. Homework: A: read the words and text 3 times. B: talk about the music and some instruments with your parents.
