3. Tell Ss should protect animals, live with animals friendly.
重点难点：
1. Words and sentence pattern.
2. Can distinguish and imitate animals鈥� sounds correctly.
教学准备：
Textbook, teacher鈥檚 book, tape recorder, tape, pictures.
教学过程：
Step 1 Warming up
1. Greeting.
2. Listen and sing the song Old MacDonald.
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1. Game: Quick response.
2. Show the word card a lion.
Ss: What鈥檚 this in English, Miss Ou?
T: It鈥檚 a lion.
Show the picture, paste the card and picture on the board, guide to read word lion, a lion. It鈥檚 a lion.
3. Use the same method to teach words a dog, a monkey, a bird.
4. Game: Listen and pat words.
5. Elicit the sentence pattern You鈥檙e a lion/bird/dog/monkey/鈥�
6. Listen to the tape of Part A, who can repeat it phrase by phrase.
7. Open books, listen, read and point.
Step 3 Practise
1. Create situation and make dialogues.
Situation: Bird and Lion meet in the big forest.
Lion: Good morning！
Bird: Good morning！ Who are you?
Lion: Guess, please.
Bird: You鈥檙e a cat.
Lion: No. I鈥檓 not. （ do action and sound it.）
Bird: Are you a dog?
Lion: No.
Bird: You鈥檙e a lion.
Lion: Yes. I鈥檓 a lion. Nice to meet you！
Bird: Nice to meet you, too！
2. Make an assessment.
