　　教学内容：

　　Oxford English 6A Module 2 Unit 1 People鈥檚 Jobs

　　教学目标：

　　1. Help Ss to find out a person鈥檚 occupation by asking 鈥渨h-鈥漲uestions

　　2. Help Ss to to find out the reason by asking 鈥渨h-鈥漲uestions

　　3. Help Ss to to obtain 鈥測es/no鈥� responses by asking simple questions

　　4. Help Ss to use 鈥渓ike to鈥� to express interests, feelings and opinions.

　　Language skills and subskills:

　　Listening: Recognize differences in the use of intonation.

　　Speaking: Open an interaction by eliciting a response by asking questions.

　　Maintain an interaction by replying/asking others鈥� opinions.

　　Reading: Using visual clues, context to work out the meaning of a new word. Writing: Gather and share information by using tables.

　　Developing written texts by writing paragraphs which present ideas

　　logically.

　　I. Pre-task preparation:

　　1.Ss sing songs.

　　2.Help Ss to play a guessing game 鈥淲hat job do I do?鈥� to review job names---（Distribute everyone an information page on which there are some job names.）

　　3.Ss do pair work to review the dialogues at P17:

　　--What job do you do?

　　--I鈥檓 a鈥Α�

　　--Do you like your job?

　　---Yes, I do. /No, I don鈥檛.

　　--Why?

　　--I like to鈥Α�/I want to鈥Α� I like to be a鈥Α�

　　II. While-task procedure:

　　1.Elicit 3 new job names 鈥� astronaut, pilot, farmer鈥� using the following sentences:

　　--What job does he/she do?

　　-- He鈥檚/She鈥檚 a 鈥Α�

　　-- What does he/she usually do?

　　-- He/She鈥�

　　2.Ask Ss to do pair work to consolidate above.

　　3.Elicit 鈥淒oes he/she like his/her job? Why?鈥�

　　4.Help Ss to play a game 鈥淗ow much do you know about your friend?鈥� （Ask some pairs to talk about their good friends鈥� jobs, the others write

　　down what they hear and then give a report.）

　　5.Help Ss complete Listening comprehension:

　　First listen and fill in the table, then give a report according to the table..

　　III. Post-task activity:

　　Help Ss to complete a survey: Find out what their partners鈥� parents do.（Distribute a page to each student. Ask them to find out what their partners鈥� parents do. Students can use the information page. Then invite some students to report back.）
