陕旅版三上《Lesson 8 What's this?》教学设计

  教学目标:

  1、技能目标。学生能听懂对话录音,能听懂师生之间就本对话内容展开的切形式的回答,会和别人展开对话,了解和传递信息;能就本课语言难点造句,而且无语法错误;能就类似话题,创造性地自编对话。

  2、知识目标。学生要牢记所有新学单词,还要记住新学句型等。为实现自如讲英语奠定基础。

  (1)能听懂、会说、会写“Is this/that … ? Yes , … is . No , … isn’t .”

  (2)能听懂会说“She looks so young .”

  (3)能听懂会说,会写单词“uncle , aunt , grandfather , grandmother ”。

  3、情感目标。学生要爱学英语,爱说英语,想说英语,对英语学习投以极大的兴趣和热情。

  4、学习策略目标。改变传统的死记硬背,积极主动地投入到语言的实践中去,包括听、说、读、写的实践。在实践中提高语言的综合使用能力,加深对基础知识的掌握和记忆。

  重点难点:

  1、 听懂并运用“Is this/that … ?”来询问。

  2、 掌握单词“uncle , aunt , grandfather , grandmother”的发音。

  教具准备:

  录音机,单词卡片,相关幻灯片。

  教学过程:

  一、Warm-up

  1、 Greetings.

  T: Good morning , boys and girls .

  Ss: Good morning , teacher .

  T: How are you , today ?

  Ss: Fine , thank you . And you ?

  T: I’m fine , too .

  2、 Chant

  T: Boys and girls , before our class , let’s chant “Who is big ?” OK ?

  Ss: OK!

  T: Now, let’s chant.

  Ss:(Chant together.)

  3、 Revision

  (Teacher use the word cards or powerpoint to review the words of “father , mother , brother , sister , friend , clever , cool ” Students look at the word cards read it and spell it .)

  T: Please look at here . I have some words . who can read and spell it ? Hands up , please.

  S1:(Reads the first word and spell it .)

  T: Let’s read it together .

  Ss: (Read it together)

  4、 导课

  T: Do you remember how many words you have read ?OK,now, let’s count .

  Ss: One two … eight .

  T: Good ! Today we’ll learn Lesson 8 .Please read it follow me .“Lesson 8 ”(three times )

  二、New teaching

  1、 Learn the new words

  (幻灯片出示小沈阳图片)

  T: Look at here . Do you know him ? (How’s he ?)

  Ss: Xiaoshenyang .

  T: Yes , you can call him uncle. (出示单词)

  T: You should call your father’s or mother’s brother “uncle”。Who can guess what’s meaning ?

  Ss:叔叔,舅舅,姑父,伯伯,姨夫……。

  T: Please read it after me . “uncle”(three times )

  Ss: uncle

  T: Let’s write it together . U-N-C-L-E , uncle

  T: The boy/girl reads it , please .(practice one by one )

  S1: uncle

  T: Next one .

  S2: uncle.……

  T: Good job . This row , Together . (practice row by row )

  T: Together .

  T: Do you know her? (How’s she ?)

  Ss: Zhao Wei .

  T: You should call her aunt. (出示单词)

  T: Please read it after me . “aunt”

  T: You should call your father’s or mother’s sister “aunt” .Who can guess what’s meaning of it ?

  Ss:阿姨,姑姑,舅妈……。

  T: Please read it after me . “aunt”(three times )

  Ss: aunt 。

  T: Let’s write it together . A-U-N-T , aunt.

  T: Let’s read it together . A-U-N-T , aunt.

  Ss: A-U-N-T , aunt.

  T: The boy/girl reads it , please .(practice one by one )。

  S1: A-U-N-T , aunt.

  T: Next one .

  T: Good . This line , please . ( practice line by line )

  (幻灯片出示单词father)

  T: What’s this ? Who can read ?

  Ss: father

  T: You can add “ G-R-A-N-D ” grand in front of it . (出示grand)

  T: Let’s read it together . “grand” .

  Ss: “grand”

  T: grandfather .

  Ss: grandfather .

  T: Who can guess what’s meaning of “grandfather” ? (出示图片)

  Ss:爷爷,姥爷……

  T: You should call your father’s or mother’s father “grandfather”。

  T: Let’s read it together . “grandfather”

  Ss:“ grandfather ”

  T: The boy/girl reads it , please .(practice one by one )。

  S1: “ grandfather ”

  T: Next one .

  S2: “ grandfather ”……

  T: Boys, please .

  Boys: “ grandfather ”

  T: Girls , please .

  Girls : “ grandfather ”

  T: Together .

  T: Please read it together.

  Ss:“mother ”

  T: Is this your uncle ? (点头示意)

  Ss:Yes,he is .

  T: Please read it after me . “Is this your uncle ?” “Yes,he is .”

  Ss:“Is this your uncle ?” “Yes,he is .”

  T: (师分别指示身旁学生并询问)“Is This …(your classmate / friend) ?”

  Ss:“Yes,… is .” “No,… isn’t .”

  T: If the person is near of you , you should use “ this ”。But If the person is far away from you , you should use “ that ”。Please look at here .

  (幻灯片出示远景图片)

  T: You should say “Is that your uncle ?” (摇头示意)He isn’t your uncle . You should say “No,he isn’t .”

  T: Please read it after me . “Is that your uncle ?”

  Ss:“Is that your uncle ?”

  T: “No,he isn’t .”

  Ss:“No,he isn’t .”

  T: The boy /girl come here and answer my question . (指远处人物询问) “Is that … ?”

  S1:“Yes , … is . ”or“ No , … isn’t .”(Ss buy Ss)

  T: Good job. Now please open your book and look at Part 2 Try to use . Look at the pictures and use “Is this/that … ?”“Yes , … is . ”or“ No , … isn’t .”make a new dialogue .

  Ss: Make new dialogues group by group .

  T: Good job. Now please look at here . (分别出示图片1、2、3并询问) “Is this/that … ?”

  Ss: Look at the pictures and answer “Yes , … is . ”or“ No , … isn’t .”

  T: You did very well ! Now please open your book and look at Part 1 Learn to say . Please look at the boy . “ Is this Liu Gang ? ”

  Ss: Yes , he is .

  T: Look at the girl . “ Is this Annie? ”

  Ss: Yes , she is .

  T: “What are they talking ?” Now please listen to the tape .

  Ss: Listen .

  T: OK . Now please read it after me . (Three times)

  Ss: Read it after teacher .

  T: Good . Now look at here . There are some questions about the conversation . Please read it by yourself and try to answer the questions .

  Ss: Answer the questions one by one .

  三、Practice

  T: You are very clever . Who can act the conversation for us ? Please have a try .

  Ss: Act the conversation . (About three groups to five groups )

  四、Sum up

  T: Today we learnt four words “uncle aunt grandmother grandfather ”and the sentences “Is this/that … ?”“Yes , … is . ”or“ No , … isn’t .”。And we have to pay attention on “this” and “ that ”。

  五、Homework

  T: After class, I hope you do these things . (Show Homework )

  1、 Listen to the tape and read the text more than three times .

  2、 Write the words five times .

  3、 Make tow pair sentences with “Is this/that … ?”“Yes , … is . ”or“ No , … isn’t .”
