难点:句子“Are you helpful at home?”以及在实际情景中正确运用所学对话。
课前准备:录音带、录音机、词卡、日历
教学过程:
1、 热身
放录音,学生边说边做相应的动作。
2、 预习
(1)放歌谣的录音,学生边说边表演。
(2)教师说:The dog can run. The panda can eat bamboo. The mouse can hide in the shoe. Mike can draw animals in the zoo. I can sing. I can play ping-pong. I can clean the bedroom, What can you do? 引导学生给出尽量多的回答。
(3)学生听录音,跟读Let’s learn部分的词汇并拼读、仿写。
3、 新授
Let’s try
(1) 学生听录音,做练习。
录音内容如下:
Grandma: What can you do, Mike?
Mike: I can sweep the floor. I can cook the meals. I can clean the bedroom. I can water the flowers.
Grandma: Great! You’re helpful!
(2) 教师说:Mike is helpful. Are you helpful at home? What can you do ? 请学生两人一组进行问答操练。
Let’s talk
(1)教师放录音,学生听录音跟读,然后进行替换练习。
(2)教师出示一张日历,上面写着:Mother’s Day。 教师问:What day
is it today? 学生回答。T: The second Sunday in May is Mother’s Day.
What can you do for you mother on Mother’s Day? 让学生组织回答。
Group work
(1)在规定时间内进行四人小组内的调查并按要求做好记录,选择一部分同学向全班汇报调查结果。
(2)做“背靠背”游戏。

教师放歌曲“I Can Help”的录音,学生学唱歌曲。
