一、教材分析
1、教学目标
a. Using Ability task :Using ‘can’to talk about abilities.
According one’s hobby make new friends.
b. Moral task: Students love to communicate.
A.Basic Demands:
词汇:Australia French pet
句型: Who can be your pen friend?
I can be your friend.
He can speak French.
I like doing sth.
2、教学难点
Australia的读音
会设计自己的名片
交际用语,有关Penfriends的一些话题
3、教具准备
Tape recorder, 教师制作好自己的名片3张(英语书写,含有address, name, email and I can…的信息,并且设计美观)、空白的名片若干张
二、教学过程
1、Warming-up
Review “Can” and “can’t” with the students.
Encourage the students to suggest fun activities and write them on the board.
Play computer games dance
Swim sing
Ice-skate roller-skate
Then, invite volunteers to come up to the front of the class and encourage the class to ask the volunteers questions.
Example:
Class:Can you ice-skate?
Volunteer 1:No,I can’t
Class:Can you dance?
Volunteer 2:Yes,I can
2、Presentation
Ss open their books
Listen to the tape, students pay attention how do they introduce their name, age and adddress.
Teacher teach the key points.
a. The key points: Australia French pet Sydney Hong Kong London San Francisco
b. The main sentences structure:
“I can do….”
Like doing sth/ Because…..
Repeat after the tape.
