¡¡¡¡Pre-task preparation:
¡¡¡¡1. Ask students to talk about the plants in the classroom.
¡¡¡¡2. Use the toy animals that students have brought to class. Ask them to interact by eliciting responses.
¡¡¡¡3. Ask the students to draw a flower they like best and talk about it.
¡¡¡¡While-task procedure:
¡¡¡¡Â² Listen to the tape. Students learn the content through listening.
¡¡¡¡Â² Listen to the tape again and repeat it.
¡¡¡¡Â² Act it out in groups of three.
¡¡¡¡Student’s self-assessment:
¡¡¡¡In groups, refer the students to the self-assessment sheet on page 61 and have them discuss their opinion about each task in this unit and what they think they have learned. Have each student fill in the sheet accordingly with the appropriate amount of support from me, depending on individual students’ ability.
