　　Ⅰ.Teaching contents:

　　1. To help students to learn five new words:

　　a bed, a sofa, a telephone , a bookcase, a desk.

　　2. To help students to review some words:

　　a dog, a cat, a bird, a tiger,a monkey, a panda, a zebra,

　　an elephant，a banana, a watermelon ,a peaches, a pear,

　　an apple, an orange, a pineapple,

　　3. To help students to use the structure : “This is….”

　　Ⅱ.Teaching aims:

　　1.To develop students’ basic skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.

　　2.To encourage students to practice, participate and co-operate in the classroom activities.

　　3.To use the structure correctly.

　　Ⅲ. Teaching difficulties:

　　Students can use the sentence structure correctly while describe some pictures.

　　Ⅳ. Teaching importance:

　　To help students master the five new words and the structure.

　　Ⅴ. Teaching aids:

　　A multi-media computer system, words cards, some real objects and some pictures.

　　Ⅵ. Teaching procedure:

　　Step 1: Warming-up & Lead-in

　　Activity 1: Sing songs (class work)

　　⑵《Hi, Nancy!》

　　(Sing songs together)
