  一、 教材解读

  《英语课程标准》倡导学生学习的主体性,倡导体验、参与、合作与交流的学习方式。把交际活动的主动权给学生,让学生在融自主与交互学习为一体的充满活力的氛围中,扩大知识面,提高语言的运用能力,培养敢于参与的勇气,善于标新立异的意识,激发英语学习的乐趣。

  通过对教材的理解、教学方法的设计以及教学过程的安排,运用活泼多彩,符合学生心理的活动来培养学生对英语的兴趣,为学生的继续学习打下良好的基础。

  二、学情分析

  依据小学六年级学生的年龄和心理等特点,本节课以培养学生的“听、说、读、写”综合语言技能为目标带领学生展开活动。教学中要体现英语课程标准的新理念,遵循语言习惯规律,培养学生对英语语言的感受能力和语言运用的交际能力,突出创新能力的培养。同时师生之间的情感交流又激发学生的学习动机和学习热情,使学生始终处在良好的兴奋状态里,并以昂扬的激情参与到教学之中。教学中设计的猜谜活动是对新知识的扩展。同时也增加了知识的趣味性和时效性。listen and speak. 培养学生良好的语音语调。在地道真实的语境中整体认知新知。填空和组句子。是对知识的巩固,同时也是检查学生的学习效果。在整个教学的设计过程中,力求层次分明,过渡自然,环节相扣。同时把竞争机制引入课堂,并且贯穿课堂的始终。在这样的评价方式下,整个课堂民主和谐,学生乐中学,学中乐。在活动的设计中利用动作、语言等引导学生正确的做句子,以此达到实践语言的目的。

  三、教学目标

  1.认知目标:1)四会单词: favorite , subject, player , calculate

  2)听懂会说并能灵活运用以下的句型

  be good at doing\What’s your favorite subject? Who’s your favorite player?

  2.情感目标:以情感培育人,以兴趣吸引人,培养学生热爱学习,团结协作,友好竞争的精神。

  3.技能目标:引导学生积极参与游戏,唱歌,对话,调查,竞赛等丰富多彩的活动,养成动脑、动手的好习惯,启迪思维,成为学习的主体,主动学习,教会学生学会学习。

  四、教学过程

  I. Warm- up

  1. Chant:

  T: Boys and girls, let’s have a match ,OK? Now, please be ready to chant.123go!

  G1-2: New friend, new friend G3-4:We have a new friend here.

  G1-2:This, this G3-4:This is Jenny Brown..

  G1-2:Live, live G3-4:where did you live in Canada?

  G1-2:Ottawa,Ottawa G3-4:I lived in Ottawa.

  G1-2:West,west G3-4:Isn’t Ottawa in the west?

  G1-2:No!East,east G3-4:It’s in the east.

  Drills: match in groups (G1-2 Vs G3-4)

  2. Greetings

  Chant to greet

  II. Revision

  To review the verbs:

  T: boys and girls ,look at me .I have many cards. Can you read? (show the cards )

  1) dance—dancing write---writing ride---riding

  2) sit---sitting swim---swimming run---running

  3) play---playing walk---walking read---reading

  Drills: a) ask one student of each group to read in match.

  b) T—Ss :in match

  III. Presentation

  1. to teach the sentence: be good at doing

  (1) to learn the word : calculate

  T: Everybody, please look at the word.

  Drills: a)T reads--- groups read --- spell--- write in groups--- “…ing ” in groups

  b) T asks the Ss to write the “calculating” in the sentence : I’m good at …

  (2) to practice the sentence : I’m good at doing

  Drills: a) T asks the Ss to make the sentences with the be good at …

  b) T asks the Ss to stick the cards on the right position in groups

  2. to teach the sentence : What’s / Who’s your favorite…?

  Put the cards (opposite ) on the blackboard : What/ Who/ player/ subject /favorite

  (1) to show the cards and learn to the words: favorite /player/ subject

  a) to learn the word: favorite 最喜欢的

  Drills: read—spell---write in groups

  b) to learn the word : player运动员

  Drills: a) read ---spell---write in groups

  b)T acts and ask the Ss to guess:

  T: (act) Who can tell us which player ?

  basketball player /football player /baseball player

  c) to learn the word : subject 科目

  Drills: a) read --- spell--- write in groups

  b) ask the Ss to say the subjects :

  T: Which subject do you know ?

  Chinese /English /Math/ Computer/ Music/Art/ Science /P.E./

  (2) to learn the sentences : What/Who is your favorite …?

  a) (open the word ) to make the sentences with what

  Drills: in groups

  b) to learn the sentence :

  ---What’s your favorite subject?

  ---My favorite subject is P.E.

  Drills: a) read --- match b) T & Ss in pairs c) interview :in groups

  T: One group has four persons. Ask your classmates about their favorite things.

  IV. Practice

  1.to practice the sentences

  T shows the pictures of the boy and the girl to practice the sentences:

  What\Who is her \ his favorite …?

  Drills: in pairs

  2.Listen to the tape and follow it

  3.Make the sentences in groups

  a) I am not good at calculating.

  b) What is your favorite subject?

  c) My favorite subject is P.E.

  d) Who is your favorite player?

  4.Listen and write

  a) Math is ______ . b) I’m not good ______ calculating.

  c) What’s your _______ ______ ? d) My favorite subject is _______ .

  e) Who is your _______ _______ ?

  V. Summary

  1.Chant:

  G1—2 : Math, math! G3—4 : Math is difficult.

  G1—2: Calculating, calculating ! G3—4 :I’m not good at calculating.

  G1—2 Subject, subject ! G3—4 : What’s your favorite subject/

  G1—2 : P.E. P.E. G3—4 : My favorite subject is P.E.

  G1—2: Basketball, basketball! G3—4 : I like basketball.

  G1—2: Player, player ! G3—4 : My favorite player is Michael Jordan.

  3. Chant

  Chant to say good-bye.
