　　Step 1 Warm up

　　Free talk: How many countries do you know?

　　Which country do you like? Why?

　　What animals do you like? Why?

　　Step 2 Presentation and practice

　　1. My favourite animal is kangaroo. Do you like kangaroos? Do you know something about the kangaroos? Talk with your friends.

　　Teacher writes some questions on the blackboard:

　　1) Where do kangaroos live?

　　2) How do they jump?

　　3) What do they eat and drink?

　　4) Can you see kangaroos in China?

　　2. Ss talk and then answer the questions.

　　3. Guide into the text and write the answers onto the blackboard.
