  Step 2 Presentation and practice

  1. Review the three colours “red, blue, yellow” first.

  2. Study “green and brown” then.

  3. Play a game “what’s missing?”

  (锻炼学生的观察力,记忆力,快速反应能力,有效提高他们有意注意的时间。)

  4. Listen and do.

  (听指令做动作,让学生的身心得到稍微的放松,为下一阶段更好地学习。)

  Step 3 Consolidation

  1. Listen to a song of colours and tell us what colour you can hear.

  (To improve Ss’ listening and speaking abilities.)

  2. Say a chant and make a chant.

  (Prepare several rhymes to help Ss to acquire the key words .This can very effectively stir up Ss’ interest in English and help Ss apply what they’ve learnt into real life.)

  3. Listen, speak and show different colours.

  4. Look for the colourful things around us, and sing a song “happy new year”.

  (让学生发现身边五彩缤纷的事物,颜色可以美化我们的生活,提高他们的审美。)

  5. Send the present to their best friend by making dialogues.

  (新年之际,让孩子们运用所学知识结合新的句型编对话,互赠小礼物。培养他们合作学习的能力,同时让他们学会感恩。)

  Homework

  Listen to the tape and master the words of colours.

  Dress up your bedroom by using the colours.
