Steps:
Pre-task preparation (1):
1. Review the words: ladybird, fly, bee, butterfly with the sentence structure What鈥檚 this? What鈥檚 that? It鈥檚 a/an 鈥�
2. Practice in pairs: Ask and answer.
3. Draw a simple insect on the blackboard. Point and say: Look at the insect. It has a head/body.
4. Ask students to count the insect鈥檚 legs. Complete the drawing.
Post-task activity:
Workbook page 27
1. Review the insect vocabulary.
2. Students then complete the matching exercise.
3. Students then complete: Draw and write, and finally the insect identification matching exercise.
