7. Play a game: Quick response
T says the colour of the traffic lights, Ss do the action quickly. Then S1 say and S2 do.
e.g. S1: Red.
S2 should do the action: stop.
(红绿灯小游戏既可以帮助Ss在游戏中复习所学的红黄绿三种颜色,考验Ss’快速反应能力,又能增加交通小知识,寓教于乐。)
8. Teach the new word: blue
First ask Ss to do an exercise: Circle the same letters
练习如下:

l j g l a (第二组黄色字体)
u B h e u(第三组绿色字体)
e E d e c(第四组蓝色字体)
当Ss完成练习,圈出相应字母后,T ask Ss: b-l-u-e, do you know what colour is it? Then to lead in the new word: blue.
(先让学生做一个熟悉的题型,圈出相同的字母,然后通过T的提问巧妙地引出新单词 “blue”,并且四排字母前三排字母用刚学的红黄绿三种颜色表示,第四排字母用将要学习的蓝色表示,这也起了暗示作用,帮助学生猜出将要学习的单词。)

1. Play a game: What’s missing?
四种颜色快速消失一种,让Ss猜哪一种颜色消失了。复习新知,锻炼Ss’快速反应能力。
