1. Show a map of the world. T: Look！ What鈥檚 this? Ss: It鈥檚 map. T: Yes, it鈥檚 a map of the world. There are many countries in the map. Could you me some names of the countries? Ss: China, America鈥︹�Α� T: Who can search out Singapore in the map? Write 鈥� a country, search鈥�
2. Show a picture of celebrating National Day. T: When is your birthday? S1: It鈥檚 on the 鈥Α� S2: It鈥檚 on the 鈥Α�. T: When is our country鈥檚 birthday? Ss: China鈥檚 birthday is on October 1st. T: Yes, you鈥檙e right. China鈥檚 birthday is our National Day. （Write 鈥� National Day鈥洠� What are the Chinese people doing in the picture? Oh, they 鈥榬e gathering together and celebrating the National Day.
