  教学目标:

  1、知识目标:All the Ss can learn the new words of Module 1 Unit 1

  2、技能目标:I came back……Can talk about the summer vocation in English

  3、情感目标:Thousand kilometer might million place building Tell sb about sth. Want to do sth.

  教学重点:

  Thousand kilometer might million place building Tell sb about sth. Want to do sth.

  教学难点:

  Ten thousand …/ thousands of …

  Two hundred …/ hundreds of …

  学习分析:

  六年级的学生对英语学习兴趣整体有所下降,两极分化比较严重。所以本学期应做好后进生的转化工作。以学生的发展为宗旨,始终把激发学生的学习兴趣放在首位,注意分层教学,引导学生端正学习态度,掌握良好的学习方法,培养学生良好的学习习惯。

  教学过程:

  一、Greetings.

  About the summer holiday/weather.etc.

  Now class, Did you have a good holiday?

  What did you do in your holiday?

  Where did you go ?

  What did you see ?

  what did you eat?

  Who can tell me more about your holiday?

  二、First , tell the students about the Great Wall.

  Where is the Great Wall ? Who has ever been to the Great Wall?

  How do you like the Great Wall ?

  What does the Great wall look like ?

  Second the teacher has a summery.

  The Great Wall runs across North China like a huge dragon,

  It winds its way from west to east, across deserts, over mountains, through vallegs till at last it reaches the sea. It’sthe longest wall on the earth, also one of the wonders in the world.

  三、New teaching.

  1.Ask one student to read the new words.And make it read them in a right way.

  2.Note: two hundred/hundreds of two thousand/thousands of two million/millions of might + do

  3. Ask all the students to read the new words together.

  4. Ask all to recite the new words and prepare for the dictation.

  四、New teaching.

  --How long is…?

  --It’s …long. --How old is …?

  --It’s …old.

  五、Text

  Ask the students to listen to the recorder with the question: How long is the Great Wall? The answer : It’s ten thousand li long.

  六、Listen and read

  Listen again. And ask all the students to read the text sentence by sentence. Make sure that they understand every sentence.

  七、Role play

  Make the students read the dialogue and have a role play before the class.

  八、Homework.

  Write the new words and expressions of unit1 . Read the text.
