3、能感知并理解形容词原级比较形式“as…as”的用法;
4、渗透与人为善的教育。

重点:理解并复述故事
难点:“as…as”结构。
三、教学准备
英语读物一本、单词卡片、教学挂图、教学磁带等。(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片或多媒体课件)
四、教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
1、师生问候。
2、唱已学的英语歌曲。
3、利用教室中的物品或文具作比较,自由会话。
Step 2 Presentation and drill
1、情景引入,教新单词carry,clever,understand,diffcult,friendly,happy as a bird。
1)抱起一叠作业本,假装抱不动。
T:Oh,the exercise books are so heavy that I can"t carry it .Who can carry them for me ? Who can help me?
S1: Let me carry them for you.
T: Thank you . You"re so friendly.
板书单词carry 和friendly,带读。
2)出示英语读物。
T: S2,please read this story for us.
S2: Sorry ,I can"t read it.
T: It doesn"t matter . This book is too difficult.
