Step 1.Warming up.
Listen and sing a song.
Step 2.Free talk.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning.
T: Nice to see you again.
Ss: Nice to see you, too.
T: What day is it today?
Ss: It"s Monday.
T: Are you as tall as xxx?
T: Who is taller ,you or Tom?
T: Who is younger ,you or Su Yang ?
S: I"m younger than Su Yang .
T: Do you run fast?
Do you jump high?
Do you swim fast?
Step 3.Presentation and drill.
1. Lead to play a game: Listen and do.

2. T: Let"s fly a kite.
Learn the words: low lower, high higher
3. Let two students have a running race, lead to learn the words:
slow slower, fast faster
4. Show the picture to ask and answer:
What time do you get up?
What time does Jim get up?
Lead to learn the words: late later, early earlier
Make sentences: Jim gets up earlier than me.
Mike goes to bed later than Liu Tao.
5. Let the students have a match to lead the words: far farther, well better
6. Read the words after the tape.
7. Make sentences.
