2.The whole class read the passage

3. Write words
T: Try to write down more words that contain the sound [w] in groups.
T: Who wants to tell us more words?
Ss: watch, window, week, we, wave, watermelon, water, wolf, walk, worm, wood, white, Wednesday, wash…
[评:让学生通过讨论掌握和了解更多的发 [w]的单词,发散学生的思维,从语音入手复习旧知,又从单词中训练语音意识。]
4. Group work: (four students a group)
(1) Discuss and make a story ,sentences ,chant using the words that contain the sound [w] in groups .
(2) Write down the story,sentences , chant with [w] words in groups of four.
(3) One group is chosen to read aloud their own story and the others listen and shout out the words that contain the sound [w].
