  3. Can say the names of the countries: America Canada China Australia.

  4. To know about the Women鈥檚 Day.

  Sentences: I鈥檓 from 鈥

  Welcome!

  教学难点:

  Pronunciation of 鈥淎merica鈥潯

  教学准备:

  Tape, recorder, masks, flags

  教学过程:

  Step 1 Warming-up

  1. Let鈥檚 sing: Boy or Girl.

  2. Let鈥檚 chant: Boy or Girl.

  3. Free talk

  T: Good morning. How are you?

  Ss: I鈥檓 fine, thank you.

  T: How old are you?

  Ss: I鈥檓 10. Nice to see you.

  T: Nice to see you, too.

  Step 2 Presentation

  1. T: We have a new friend today. What鈥檚 your name?

  Teach the whole class to read the sentence.

  We have a new friend. / Welcome.

  2. Use the flags to present China, America, Canada and the sentence pattern:

  I鈥檓 from 鈥

  a. Teacher shows a Chinese flag and introduces: I鈥檓 from China.

  b. Teacher acts as a travel guide and go to different places. Ss learn the new words: Canada, America.

  c. Practice and chant:

  China, China, I鈥檓 from China.

  America, America, I鈥檓 from America.

  Canada, Canada, I鈥檓 from Canada.

  Australia, Australia, I鈥檓 from Australia.

  3. Dialogue learning.

  a. T: We have a new friend today. Guess. Boy or girl?

  Where is Amy from?

  b. Listen to the tape and learn the dialogue.

  Use the mask to talk about I鈥檓 from 鈥︹

  4. Ss practice and act the dialogue.

  Step 3 Brief summary

  Dialogue:

  S1: I鈥檓 鈥 I鈥檓 from China. And you?

  S2: I鈥檓 from Canada.

  布置作业

  (1)Read the sentences.

  (2)Listen to the tape.
