　　教学目标：

　　1．Ss can listen, say, and read the words: girl, boy.

　　2．Ss can understand and say the sentence 鈥淲atch out！鈥� and apply to the practical situation.

　　3. Ss can sing the song 鈥淏oy and girl鈥�.

　　教学重点：

　　Words: boy, girl. Ss are able to use 鈥淚鈥檓 a boy. I鈥檓 a girl.鈥� And introduce themselves.

　　教学难点：

　　Ss can understand and say the sentence 鈥淲atch out！鈥� and apply to the practical situation.

　　教学准备：

　　Word cards, pictures, name cards.

　　教学过程：

　　Step 1 Warming-up

　　1. Free talk:

　　T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.

　　Ss: Nice to meet you, too.

　　2. Free talk between 2 students

　　3. Follow the tape and act out A Let鈥檚 talk

　　Step 2 Presentation

　　1. Show up the picture, saying: Look！ This is Mike. He鈥檚 a boy.

　　Thus teach boy and I鈥檓 a boy. Teach girl in the same way.

　　2. Play games: boy or girl

　　a. Ask one student to stand in front to the teacher鈥檚 desk and guess boy or girl according to the sound they make.

　　b. Look and stick. Teacher prepares some pictures of boy or girl. Some Ss sticks some clothes and heads. Then introduce: This is Mike. He鈥檚 a boy.

　　3. Present 鈥淲atch out！鈥�

　　Look at the picture in Let鈥檚 learn and tell them the meaning of watch out and how to use it. Then let some Ss create this kind of situation and act.

　　4. Listen to the tape and follow it.

　　5. Make dialogue.

　　S1: Hello. I鈥檓 a boy. I鈥檓 from 鈥�

　　S2: Hi！ I鈥檓 a girl. I鈥檓 from 鈥�

　　Talk about it in groups

　　Check the students to see whether it goes smoothly.

　　6. Ss sing a song: 鈥淏oy or girl.鈥�

　　Sing the song with action.

　　Step 3 Brief summary

　　Chant: I am a boy. He is a boy. I am a girl. She is a girl.
