　　教材分析：

　　This class mainly introduces how to write a letter. We can encourage them to write a letter according to the book.

　　教学对象：

　　The students have learnt the past actions with a letter. We’ll go on learn how to write a letter.

　　教学目标：

　　1. Be able to listen, speak, read and write the new words such as : “tell, dance, （dancing）， cold, live.”

　　2. Be able to write a letter themselves.

　　3. Be able to use in practice.

　　课前准备：

　　vcd powerpoint flash cards tape recorder

　　教学过程：

　　一、Warm-up

　　Let’s sing a song from the last book. Encourage them to do the actions.

　　二、Presentation

　　Listen and say. Then sing.

　　Before singing the song, the teacher asks some questions.

　　The teacher continues to call out the countries and the students say the corresponding nationalities.

　　The teacher plays the spoken version of the song and gets the students to repeat the words. Then the teacher plays the second version and lets the students listen to the melody or they can sing along with the music.

　　The students sing the song.

　　The teacher gets the students to substitute the four nationalities in the textbook for others ones.

　　三、Practice

　　Game: Guess

　　Where do you live?

　　Listen and repeat.

　　The teacher gets five large pieces of paper and writes one of these words on each piece of paper: rain play day all autumn

　　The teacher indicates that five students stand in different places round the room.

　　The teacher plays the tape and students point and repeat the words.

　　Say the sentences.

　　四、Consolidation

　　Now write a letter to Miss Liu. Use your answers. Draw yourself.

　　五、Sum-up

　　Make the students to sum up the main part of this class.

　　六、作业

　　1. Listen to the tape p4-5（5）

　　2. Complete the letter.
