Step 1. Class Opening and Review
Greet & Everyday English: What day is it today?
Review the days of the week. Play a game 鈥 What鈥檚 missing?鈥
Step 2 Presentation
Help the Ss understand 鈥淥ften,yesterday鈥.At the same time, T teaches the past---tense verbs.
1) T: On Monday, I walk to school. What about you ? ( And you ?)
S1: On Monday, I walk to school. ( maybe ride a bike )
T: On Tuseday (to Friday), you 鈥?
S1: On Tuseday, I walk to school.
T: From Monday to Friday, you often walk to school. ( write each sentence on the Bb and at last, write 鈥 I often walk to school.鈥漮n the Bb.) , too. Circle 鈥渙ften鈥, ask Ss to guess its meaning.
