  Write鈥 too big, too small鈥 5 times。

  Class Opening

  Greeting

  Sing a sing: How are you?

  Have a race: Read the words as quickly as you can.

  (快速抢读单词,将全班分成两组,Clothes Team and Foods Team,获胜队奖本队标志的小贴画。)

  T:What is it? What are they?

  Ss:It is a cap/grapes鈥

  Key concepts:

  Housecoat pyjamas slippers

  1.Demonstrate:

  T:You do a good job. By the way, what is you fovourite colour/ food?

  Ss: My favourite is -----.

  There are some other clothes here.

  Do you want to know what is it?

  (一部分,一部分地 出示卡片,让学生想象是什么衣服)

  T: What is it? /What are they?

  (学生可任意联想回答,然后老师出示整张图片)

  Oh, they are slippers. Do you have any slippers? What colour are they?

  Ss: Yes/no. They are 鈥(板书单词slippers)

  T; And what are they? (出示pyjamas的图片下半部分)

  Ss: Pants?/Jeans?..

  T: No, they are pyjamas. Do you have pyjamas? Are they new or old? Are they big or small?(板书单词pyjamas).

  用同样的方法出示housecoat.

  Practice:

  Play the game 鈥淲hat is missing?鈥

  Play 鈥淲hat is it?鈥

  (2)Too big, too small, just right

  1. 用多媒体介绍句型:

  Look at Jenny!

  How about her housecoat?

  Ss: It鈥檚 too big.

  T: Yes, This housecoat is too big.

  (依次介绍These pyjamas are too small. These new slippers are just right.)

  Listen and follow the recording.

  让学生打开书, 边听边跟读.

  Check for the understanding:

  Draw a picture and make up a new dialogue.

  Let鈥檚 chant.

  Housecoat, housecoat, big, big, too big!

  Pyjamas, pyjamas, small, small, too small.

  Slipper, slippers, just right, just right, just right.

  Use the Activity book.

  Class closing: Sing a song.

  He鈥檚 wearing a big hat, a big hat a big hat, he鈥檚 wearing big hat鈥(老歌新词)

  Homework:

  1听磁带,读课文,会说句子

  ------- is/are too big/too small/just right.

  2出自己喜欢的服装(5种),并写出相应的单词。

  通过歌曲和师生互动活跃课堂气氛,营造良好的学英语的软环境。小组竞赛又进一步调动了学生学习英语的积极性。

  由部分到整体,由虚到实,趣味联想引出三个新次,激发了学生的想象力。

  放课件,为学生提供地道的语言材料和标准的语音语调,让学生过看、听想等多种形式调动多个感官全方位的感知新知识,有助于学生正确模仿,强化记忆,以便形成良好的语言素质,培养他们自主学习的能力。

  自编歌谣,简单易记朗朗上口,使学生在不知不觉中复习巩固了所学知识。

  边唱边学,优美动听的歌曲带孩子们进入了一个忘我的学英语世界。
