  Show the students a picture of a forest like the one for 鈥淪ay and act鈥 on page 42. You may add some flowers if there are not any. Encourage the students to say what they can see in the picture.

  While-task

  Procedure

  1. Learn: flower tree

  a.Use a picture of the street and ask student what can you see? To elicit: flower, tree.

  b.Practice the pronunciation\ au\, \i:\.

  c.Use simple sentence to introduce the flower and tree. Make a short rhyme to practice the new word.

  Divide the class into groups and do group work, every group one by one to practice to say pick something..

  a. A little boy comes to the street, and he likes flowers, so he picks the flowers, an old grandpa comes to tell the little boy don鈥檛 pick flowers, the little boy says 鈥淚鈥檓 sorry.鈥

  b. Some boys are playing football. Suddenly the football flies to the tree. A boy can clime the tree to pick the football. But it鈥檚 dangerous.

  c. To elicit: Don鈥檛 climb the tree. I鈥檓 sorry.
