  Step 1 Warming up:

  Greetings.

  T: Hello! Are you lingling/mingming?

  Ss:Yes, I am ./ No, I am not.

  T: How old are you?

  Ss: I am six/ ...

  T: How old is he/she?

  He鈥檚/She鈥檚鈥︹

  Step 2 Presentation and drill

  1.T shows the pictures.

  T: What are these?

  Ss:They are rulers.

  T: Hello,Peter!How many rulers are there?Let鈥檚 count.

  One, two, three, four ,five,six.Six rulers

  Ss learn to say : Six rulers. There are six rulers.

  T: How many pens are there?Let鈥檚 count.

  Ss learn to say: Five pens. There are five pens.

  T: What are these?

  Ss: They are books. There are four books

  Ss greet to Mingming: How many pens are there,Mingming?

  There are four pens.

  Ss learn to say:

  How many pens are there,Mingming?

  There are four pens.

  Learn Part B.

  2. Listen to the tape (Part A, B), read after the tape.

  Step 3 Practice

  1. Group in four act the Part A.

  2. Game: take turns to act the school things.

  Step 4. Consolidation

  1. free talk.

  2. Assessment.

  3. Exercises book

  4. Homework: listen to the tape, read the text.

  Handwriting on the blackboard:
