Step 1 Warming-up
1. Play an English song: I love you.
2. Sing an English song: Father and mother
3. Revise the words in Unit3.
4. Guess the riddle: I鈥檓 a little duck. This man is my uncle鈥檚 brother, but I never call him uncle. Who is this man? The Ss answer: This is your father. The teacher says: Right, this is my father.
Step 2 Presen-tation
1. The teacher introduce the content of the picture, tell the story.
2. Practice the dialogue: Cat: Hello, Duck, who is he?
Duck: He is my father.
Duck鈥檚 father: Hello, Cat. How old are you?
Cat: I鈥檓 six. Who is she?
Duck: She鈥檚 my mother.
3. Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
Step 3 Practice
1. Act out the dialogue in Partners.
2. Revise the ten words in Unit3.
3. 引导学生观察图片,分清人物。再仔细认读理解句子,思考人物关系,通过图片和句子的提示完成表格,进一步巩固、复习本单元所学的词汇和各个人物在家庭间的关系。
