Step 1: Warm-up

T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning, Miss Yang.
T: What date is it today?
S: It鈥檚 Dec.25th.
T: Yes. It鈥檚 Dec.25th. It鈥檚 Christmas Day. Merry Christmas! Each of you can get one candy, please put it in your lucky box.
S: Thank you Miss Yang.
评:在上课一开始自由对话中谈论当天是圣诞节,小朋友可以获得一颗糖果放在幸运盒里。谈话内容符合实际而有意义,在节日奖励小朋友糖果增加气氛拉近彼此距离。
T: What鈥檚 the weather like today?
S: It鈥檚 sunny and hot.
T: Today we are going to learn 鈥淲eather and season.鈥
评:从圣诞节讲到当天的天气,并引出课题,衔接自然。
Step 2: Leading in
1. Guessing game
T plays the sounds of the four seasons, and has the students guess which season it is. Guides the students to talk about the weather in these seasons.
T: Now please listen carefully and guess what season is it.
S: It鈥檚 spring.
T: And what鈥檚 the weather like in spring?
S: It鈥檚 rainy and warm in spring.
评:通过听声音猜季节的活动,调动了学生的多种感官,这一环节把大自然中真实的场景搬到课堂中来,让学生在学习语言的过程中感受各个季节的变化和特点。
T: Let鈥檚 see what can we use in spring?
