　　能听，说，认读单词：long, short, fat, thin, giraffe, elephant, snake, lion. 能听、说、认读句子：That snake is long / short. The giraffes are tall. And I am short.

　　用所学的句型和单词对动物或其他的物品进行描述。

　　3、情感目标：

　　教育学生要爱护动物，保护大自然。

　　能正确认读单词和运用所学句型

　　三、教学难点

　　单词的发音short,lion.

　　四、教学用具

　　磁带、录音机、单词卡片和挂图等。

　　Teaching steps：

　　Step1: Warmer

　　1. Greetings T: Good morning, children. Ss: Good morning , Miss Yi. T: How are you today? Ss: I am fine , thank you. And how are you? T: I am ok. Thanks.

　　2. Sing a song. T: Let鈥檚 sing a song , ok? Ss: OK！ T& Ss: Old Macdonald.

　　3. Guessing game T: Now, let鈥檚 play a guessing game about animals. T: They are big. They鈥檙e black an white. What are they? S1: They are cows. T: You are right. T: They are fat. They鈥檙e pink and black. What are they? S2: They are pigs. T: You鈥檙e so clever.

　　Step2: Presentation

　　1. T: Boys and girls, do you like animals? Ss: Yes, we do. T: That鈥檚 great！ Let鈥檚 go to the zoo.（教学单词：zoo）Look！ What鈥檚 this? S3:It鈥檚 a snake. （教授单词：snake） T: What colour is it? S4: It鈥檚 green.
