  To read the context and the phrases.

  Learn the letters: Oo, Pp, Qq.

  To cultivate their interest of learning English and the consciousness of communicating in English.

  重点难点:

  To perform the rhyme in the class.

  Review Part A and B.

  Learn the three letters: Oo, Pp, Qq

  教学准备:

  Pictures, tape recorder, multimedia,

  教学过程:

  Step1 Everyday English and greetings

  Sing a song:

  Free talk:

  How are you?

  What day is it today? (then sing the song: day)

  What鈥檚 the weather like today? / How鈥檚 the weather?

  Step 2 Revision

  Say the rhyme:

  Ss change the words and say the rhymes.

  Ss read the Part A and B.

  T gives the orders. Ss do and say: All right. T tells them 鈥渙k鈥 is good too.

  (touch your nose/mouth/ear, eye. Close/open the door/window)

  T gives them necessary review process.

  5. Ss give the orders to teacher.

  6. Ss give the orders to their partners.

  Step 3: Presentation

  Teach the letter Oo

  T writes the word mouth on the blackboard. Let Ss find out the letter o looks like the opening mouth.

  Which word include the letter o, too?

  Someone may say out the word: mango. And let Ss to conclude the pronounce of the letter: O

  Read the letter.

  Teach the letter PP

  T takes out the card of small letter d , and say: Hello, everyone, I鈥檓 small letter 鈥渄鈥潱 Today My borther comes here, converse the small letter 鈥渄鈥 Hi, Children, I鈥檓 small letter 鈥減鈥潱 this is my good friend capital letter 鈥淧鈥

  T pronounced /P/.

  Distinguish the capital letter and the small letter.

  Teach the letter Q q

  T: This letter looks like letter 鈥淥鈥 But here鈥檚 additional dot. Is this 鈥淥鈥

  Ss: No.

  T: This is 鈥淨鈥

  (2) Small letter 鈥渜鈥 looks alike 鈥減鈥 . Let Ss think the way to remember. Distinguish the capital letter and the small letter.

  (3) Think about the words with letter 鈥渜鈥

  Step 4: Read after the tape

  Ss read after the tape recorder.

  Ss read after T.

  Ss read by themselves.

  Step 5 Homework:

  Review Part: ABC
