Step2 Presentation
1.
1) T: Today my friend comes here. This is my friend monkey. What鈥檚 the matter? He is hurt. Let鈥檚 see the flash: Five little monkeys.
Teach the words: Five, four, three, two, one.
2) Ss read after teacher.
3) T touch, Ss read.
4) Ss listen to the claps, and say the number.
5) T says the number, Ss clap.
1) My dear friend: How old are you?
Monkey: I鈥檓 six.
Teach the word: six.
2) Read in the train.
3) Ask and answer: How old are you? I鈥檓 six.
1) T: How old are you?
Ss: I鈥檓 seven.
Teach the word seven.
2) Read in the low and loud voice.
3) Let鈥檚 ask monkeys together: How old are you?
Ss learn the expression.
4) Ss ask teacher.
5) Ask and answer in pairs.
Review the four words.
Ss read after the tape recorder.
Ss read after T.
Come and touch the number words.
Game: listen and clap.
Play the missing game.
Step 3 Practice
1.T takes the toy monkey. I鈥檓 six. How old are you?
Ss: I鈥檓 seven.
2. Play the passing game: sing the song: Happy Birthday. Passing the toy. When the music stops, they ask together: How old are you?
Step 4 Homework
Review the four words.
