  Step 1: warming-up

  Say the rhyme:

  Free talk:

  How are you?

  What day is it today?

  What鈥檚 the weather like today? / How鈥檚 the weather?

  How old are you?

  Step2 Review

  Ss read after T the four words.

  Ss read the word one by one.

  Play a game: Point and say.

  T shows a part of the picture and Ss guess: Can you 鈥Γ

  T asks, Ss answer: Yes, I can./No.

  S asks, others answer.

  Step 3: Do a survey.

  T explains how to do a survey.

  T shows a model.

  Ss do the survey.

  Step 4 Listening exercise.

  Listen and number.

  Listen and match.

  Listen and judge.

  Act and say.

  Step5 Homework

  Oral practice: Listen to the tape and read the dialogue and the words.
