Put picture cards of Gogo , Tony, Jenny and other characters on the board. 飦

Generate responses. Model complete sentences. 飦
Point to various items in the Do you know鈥Γ picture. 飦
T: What鈥檚 this? What do you like? 飦
Again, generate responses and model correct responses. 飦
Before opening the book, put the picture card of Gogo in front of your face. 飦
T: Hello,(s1鈥檚 name.)。 I鈥檓 Gogo. How are you? (s1: I鈥檓 fine, thanks.) 飦
Help s1 respond appropriately. 飦
Point to the picture of Peter on the page. 飦
T: Who鈥檚 this? Lt鈥檚 listen to the tape. 飦
Play the tape on time and ask Ss again who they think Peter is. Accept any answers at this stage. 飦
T: Now open your books. Let鈥檚 listen again. 飦
Have Ss follow along. If necessary, help Ss answer who Peter is. 飦
Play the tape again, pausing after each sentences and letting Ss repeat. 飦
Remember Conversation together.
Practice 2
Write How are you? on the blackboard.
T: How are you? (Point to the sentence writing on the board.)
Elicit responses such as Good. And Fine. And encourage Ss to ask you this question.
Then proceed to ask Ss about various classroom items they are familiar with.
T: What鈥檚 this?
Have Ss respond. Model correct responses and complete sentences.
● T: Listen and answer the questions.
● Play the tape and have Ss answer.
● Model complete sentences.
● Put Ss in pairs to ask and answer these questions.
(3) Students ask and answer about the old worlds.
Song Point to the pictures on the page. Ask Ss who the various characters are.
● T: Who鈥檚 he? Who鈥檚 she?
● Elicit responses.
● T: Let鈥檚 learn a song. First, let鈥檚 listen.
● Play the tape and point to each word and sentences as it is sung.
● Divide class into two teams. One team sings the Hello! How are you? Part and the second team sings the Fine, thanks. Part.
● Encourage Ss to join in the singing when they are ready. 4.Summary up
(1) Talk about the song.
(2) Have children talk about this lesson.
5.Homework
Finish the exercise on black board .
