　　Teaching procedure:

　　Step 1.Oganization.

　　Write Do you like soccer? On the board.

　　T: Repeat. （point to the word soccer.）Soccer? [Ss: soccer?]

　　Step 2. Revision

　　T: Like soccer? （point to the words.） [Ss: like soccer?]

　　T: You like soccer? （point to the words.） [Ss: You like soccer?]

　　T: Do you like soccer? [Ss: Do you like soccer?]

　　Step 3.Presentation of Vocabulary.

　　Practice with the natural speed.

　　Point to the picture and model the dialog.

　　T: Listen and repeat.

　　Play the tape, pausing after each sentence so Ss can repeat.

　　T: What sport is this? [Ss: Badminton.] Do you think she likes badminton?

　　Generate responses and the same for the other three pictures.

　　Have Ss guess what the dialogs are going to be.

　　T: Let鈥檚 listen.

　　Play the tape for number1, and then pause.

　　T: While Ss are responding, gradually move your hand to picture C.

　　T: Yes, it鈥檚 C. C is number1.

　　Continue with the other three pictures, pausing after each one.

　　T: Open your books. Look at Gogo. （point to Gogo）

　　T: Gogo is asking you a question. What is he saying?

　　Walk around the classroom, eliciting responses,

　　Play the tape and have Ss answer.

　　Divide Ss into two groups. One group sings the questions and the other sings the responses in the first verse. Both groups sing the second verse.

　　Have Ss hold up realia or pictures of the vocabulary as they sing

　　Mondel like by nodding and dislike by shaking your head.

　　Today we have learned eight new words. These new words are happy, sad, heavy, light, hot, cold, big and small.

　　Step 7 Homework

　　Copy these new words and translate it.
