  介绍值得参观或旅游的地方,询问是否想做某事。

  语言结构:

  Do you want to ...? Yes, I do./No, I don’t.

  教学目标:

  a.语言知识目标:能听说读写单词peace make peace member state the UN building 学习目标语句Do you want to ...? Yes, I do./No, I don’t. 以及介绍联合国大厦The UN wants to make peace in the world.Many countries are in the UN. China is one of the 193 member states in the UN.

  b.语言技能目标:能够听懂会说本模块句型Do you want to ...? Yes, I do./No, I don’t.,并能运用这些句子进行日常的对话。能读懂课文,并能够完成与课文相关的问题。

  c.情感态度目标:培养学生学习英语的兴趣,能积极参与活动,了解英语国家重要标志物,从而培养爱国意识,热爱家乡,热爱桂林。

  教学重点:

  能运用Do you want to ...?句式进行问答,并能在实际情景中运用。

  教学难点:

  会用一般现在时表述某人想作某事,并且能简单介绍所想参观的地方。

  学生分析:

  六年级学生已经有了多年的英语学习基础,在听、说、读、写各个方面都有了一定的能力。学生已经初步掌握了一般现在时,前面7,8模块都学过,掌握了Do you ...?句式,并能运用这一句式进行问答。本课主要是在学生已有的基础上进一步落实、巩固Do you want to ...? 这一句式的问答。课堂上要创设语境,设计一些任务型的活动提高他们的学习兴趣,同时培养学生的语言运用能力。

  设计理念:

  教师要运用任务教学法和情景教学法,让学生在任务的驱动下在真实的情景中,自主、积极、主动的参与到语言学习中,学会与他人合作,让学生掌握学习英语的方法。

  教学准备:

  单词卡片,课件,句子卡片

  教学过程:

  一、Warm-up (热身活动)

  1. Greeting.教师与学生互相问好。

  2. Sing a song: the Great Wall of China 播放录音,师生齐唱,大屏幕显示歌词和与歌曲相关的图片。

  3. Free talk: The Great Wall is very famous in China. Is it long and old? Is it beautiful? Do you want to visit the Great Wall? (Yes, I do. /No, I don’t.)

  二、Presentation and drills (介绍新语言项目)

  1. 教师引出重点句型Do you want to visit...? Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.并板书。

  2. 课件呈现图片,复习表示地点的词

  the park, the zoo, the museum, the Chinatown... What else do you know?... Let’s read. (the Empire State Building,the park, the zoo, the museum, the Chinatown...)师举着一张词卡问几个学生:Do you want to visit...?

  3. Pairwork

  4. .活动1 :Listen and answer: Where does Simon want to visit?(He wants to visit China. He wants to visit the Great Wall.)齐读一遍活动1

  5. T: Do you want to visit the Chinatown? The Chinatown is in New York. In New York,there is a very important building. Look!

  This is the UN building. (教the UN building)What do you think of the UN Building?...中文介绍联合国大厦。

  三、Text (课文学习)

  1.Simon’s Dad will take Daming and Simon to visit the UN building. Listen and answer, line down the answers a. What’s the UN building? b. Is China in the UN? 听完4人小组,找到2个问题的答句,并且试着读一读。

  2. 回答问题,并且教授新词peace---peach,place 和短语make peace, in the world, in the UN,member state,one of... ,操练词、短语和句子This is the UN building.It’s a very important building in New York. The UN wants to make peace in the world.Many countries are in the UN. China is one of the 193 member states in the UN.

  3. Listen and circle “Do you want to...?”,并读出来。The UN wants to make peace in the world.发现want to有什么变化吗?学生会找到The UN wants to make peace in the world.中want加了s。请学生思考为什么。帮助学生总结,主语是第三人称单数形式时,用一般现在时表述想做什么事,动词也要变成第三人称单数形式。

  4. Listen and repeat, 分角色读或者齐读,go into...

  五、Production (任务完成)

  1.情感教育

  Guilin is one of the beautiful cities in China. And Guilin is our homelang.We should love Guilin and make it clean and more beautiful. We’re proud of being a Guiliner. Love Guilin!

  Love our homeland!

  2.Talk about your weekend: Do you want to ...?

  Yes, I do. / No, I don’t. Ⅴ。

  六、Summary and Homework (小结与作业)

  a. Summary: T: What did we learn this class? S: 学会peace world ,能运用Do you want to ...?句式进行问答。会用一般现在时表述某人想作某事,

  want to后面要接动词原型。主语是第三人称单数形式时,用一般现在时表述想做什么事,动词也要变成第三人称单数形式。

  b. Homework: 1 Listen to the tape and read the text fluently.

  2 Copy: make peace , in the world ,in the UN, member state, the UN building

  3 Tell your parents about the UN building.

  板书设计:

  Module 9 Unit 1 Do you want to visit the UN building?

  This is the UN building.   Do you want to visit...?

  It’s a very important building in New York.   Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

  The UN wants to make peace in the world.

  Many countries are in the UN.
