　　Step 1: Warming up:

　　1. A song.

　　2. Ask and answer

　　E.g. 鈥淗ow many鈥Γ库�漷o elicit鈥湥∟umber）鈥︹��

　　鈥淚s it blue?鈥� 鈥淵es./No.鈥�

　　Step 2: Pre-task preparation

　　Put up the word cards or picture cards for colors.

　　Let the students read them together or one by one.

　　Step 3: While-task procedure

　　1. Tell the students that they are going to play a game called 鈥淭ick-Tack-toe鈥� or 鈥渪 or O鈥�

　　2. Demonstrate the game with a more able student on the wall chart.

　　Let the student choose a square in the grid. E.g. 鈥渕ooncake鈥�

　　Ask the student the question, 鈥淲hat color is it?鈥�

　　If he / she answers correctly. 鈥淚t is brown. It is a mooncake鈥潯�

　　He / she can draw an 鈥淴鈥� or 鈥淥鈥� in the square.

　　Take turns to ask and answer questions

　　3. Open to page 15 and play the game.

　　Step 4: Post-task activity

　　1. Play a guessing game

　　E.g. 鈥淲hat color is it?鈥� to elicit 鈥淚t鈥檚鈥︹��
