  教学目标:

  1.To present students the members in the family: grandpa, grandma, aunt, father

  2. Review how to make the greetings when you meet someone at the first time: Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you, too.

  3. Add the expression: mother.

  4. To cultivate students鈥 interests in speaking English.

  重点难点:

  1. Make sure that students can understand the usage of 鈥渄ad鈥 and 鈥渇ather.鈥

  2. Make sure Ss enable to read aunt, grandpa correctly.

  教学过程:

  Step1 Everyday English and greetings

  T: Good morning! I鈥檓 Miss Tu, What鈥檚 your name?

  S1: I鈥檓鈥 Nice to meet you, Miss Tu.

  T: Nice to meet you, too.

  T: How are you?

  Ss: Fine, thank you. And you?

  T: I鈥檓 fine, too.

  Introduce their desk mates to the teacher. With the sentence pattern: This is鈥

  Ss: Hello, Miss Tu, this is鈥

  T: Nice to meet you.

  S1: Nice to meet you, too.

  Step2 Review.

  Magic eyes.

  Show the picture and cover it with a piece of paper which with a hole on it. Students guess Who is he/she?

  S1: This is鈥

  T: Let鈥檚 see. Yes, you are right.

  Practice like this, teacher praise the Ss who are guessing right.

  Step 3 Lead-in:

  1. Show my family photograph, introduce my father, mother, uncle, aunt to students with the key sentence:

  This is my鈥

  T points to a man: This is my 鈥Γ╬lease guess)

  Ss: dad.

  T: Yes, He鈥檚 my father. (T writes down the word, Ss listen to my pronunciation, then read after me.)

  This word is a little difficult, so read group by group, train train go go go.

  T: This is my鈥 (please guess)

  Ss: Uncle.

  T: Great. This is my uncle. (Write down on the Bb, Ss read together)

  T: Is this my uncle?

  Ss: No.

  T: This is my grandpa.( Write down on the Bb)

  Read the word in the way of 鈥渦p the stairs and down the stairs鈥

  T: Is this my grandpa?

  Ss: No.

  T: This is my grandma. (Write down on the Bb)

  And This is my mum. This is my mother. (Ss read after me several times)

  T: Who鈥檚 this woman? Who鈥檚 she?

  Ss: Sorry, I don鈥檛 know.

  T: This is my aunt. (Write down on the Bb)

  2.Read this word in loud voice and low voice.

  Open the books and read after the tape recorder.

  4. Look at the word card: play the missing game.

  Step 4: Consolidation

  1. Ask them to take out their family photo. And T invites some Ss to come to introduce their family members to their classmates.

  S1: This is my father. This is my mother.

  S2: This is my grandpa. This is my grandma.

  2. T invites 5 Ss come to the blackboard, they take the picture of the family member. One Ss come to introduce one by one. Other Ss say 鈥渘ice to meet you鈥

  Step 5: Conclusion

  Evaluate students鈥 performance and give homework.

  Step 6: Homework

  Oral practice: read part B of the text.

  教学反思:

  The reading of 鈥渁unt鈥 is hard for some Ss. Looking at teacher鈥檚 mouth is very important for pronunciation. Take the family photo to introduce the family members making them feel proud. So Ss are eager to come on to show their family. Through this way every Ss got the chance to practice English. While learning the words, t requires them to act the family members, it makes them feel happy to learn.
