  教学目标:

  Review the four words.

  Ss are able to introduce their school things using the sentence: That鈥檚 my鈥 and using the words: nice/ new.

  Pictures, tape recorder

  教学过程:

  Step1 Everyday English and greetings

  Say the rhyme

  Free talk:

  (1) T: What鈥檚 the weather like today? It鈥檚 sunny day.

  (2) T: How are you?

  Ss: I鈥檓 good, thank you.

  Ss: I鈥檓 well, thank you.

  Step2: Presentation

  Teach: new

  T takes two things, one is old, the other is new. Now please tell me which one is nice?

  Ss point to the new one.

  T: Oh, yes, it鈥檚 new.

  T says the word: new. Ss read after T for times.

  Say the word in phrase. For example: a new book.

  Ss find sth. New from themselves and say: my new鈥

  Help Ss to say the sentence: This is my new鈥/ That鈥檚 my new鈥

  T writes the sentence on the blackboard.

  Teach: nice

  T: look at my new ruler. I like it very much. It鈥檚 very nice. (T uses the fingers to show)

  Do you like the ruler?

  Ss: Yes. (T uses the fingers to give them hint)

  Ss: It鈥檚 nice.

  Ss learn to say the word: nice.

  Let Ss introduce their own things using: This is my nice鈥/ That鈥檚 my new鈥

  T writes the sentence on the blackboard.

  Ss read the two words after T for times and distinguish them.

  Teach the answer: It鈥檚 very nice.

  When the Ss introduce their nice things, T helps other Ss to say: It鈥檚 very nice.

  Pair work.

  Step 3. Practice.

  Let Ss listen to the song.

  Ask Ss to clap hands when they heard the words: nice, new.

  Ss open the books, listen to the song and point to the words.

  Ss try to sing along with the tape recorder.

  Ss sing the song for times.

  Ss change the word and sing the song again.

  Step 4 Homework:

  Read Part AB 5 times.

  That鈥檚 my new 鈥

  That鈥檚 my nice鈥

  It鈥檚 very nice.

  教学反思:

  The words 鈥渘ew鈥 and 鈥渘ice鈥 are difficult to express. So they show the difficulty to distinguish. But the song, helps Ss to get the ideas of these two words. And they consolidate these words from this form. I think they must go on learning these words next time.
