Let all the students listen, read and recognize the new words in the study and activity of language.
三、Teaching tools
1. Teacher prepares for the tape recorder.
2. Teacher prepares for the picture cards of study, bathroom, bedroom, living room and kitchen and so on.
3. Teacher prepares for some stationery, for example, pencil, ruler, book and pen and so on.
4. Students prepare for the word cards.
四、Teaching procedures
1. Warm-up
(1)Listen to the song "Hide and seek".
(2)Daily dialogues between the teacher and the students, for example: Hello! How are you?…
2. Preview
(1)Listen to the song "My bedroom".
(2)Teacher takes out some stationery and help the students to review the sentences "Whats this? Its a…”“Wheres the…?Its in/on/under…"
3. Presentation
Lets learn
(1)Teacher shows the picture of "study" on which there are some stationery, and points out the books in the study and asks: What are they?
Students answer: Books.
Teacher asks: Where are the books? Then tells the students: Theyre in the study.
(2)Teacher repeats the new word "study". Students read after the teacher. Teacher uses the same methods to teach the other words.
