教材分析:
本课时为New Century English Grade 1 Book B 中 Unit 9 的Grand Theatre 部分。在Hong Wei 与 shop assistant 之间的对话中让学生了解买卖物品时的简单用语,并要让学生在买东西的情境中体会理解学会礼貌地购物。
学情分析:
一年级学生在一个多学期的英语学习中,已经掌握了很多词语和简单句型,在上个学期的基础上又掌握了:形容词,如new, old, tall, short, nice等;玩具名词。如:doll, plane, car等;食品名词,如meat, milk, cookies等;动物名词:如duck, goose, bird等;文具名词:pencil, knife等;地点名词:如zoo, metro等;器官名词,如mouth, nose, ear等;能动词,如see, hear, taste等。句型,如:I鈥檓 not鈥 ; This/That is鈥 ; He鈥檚/She鈥檚/It鈥檚 鈥 ; He鈥檚/She鈥檚 got鈥 ; I can smell/see/鈥 等。

Teaching Aims:
1. Language aims:
A. Able to understand and use the sentence pattern: 鈥, please.
B. Able to understand and use the dialogue: How much? 鈥uan.
2. Ability aims:
A. Able to understand the dialogue in Grand Theatre.
B. Able to imitate the text to make new dialogues.
3. Emotional aims: Instruct the students to shop civilly.
Main Points: Understand the dialogue.
Difficult Point: Use the sentences to make new dialogue.

Teaching procedure:
Ⅰ Pre-task Preparation:
A. Sing a song: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
B. Read words one by one. (pictures; word cards)
C. Say a chant: Apple, please.
Ⅱ While-task Preparation:
A. HongWei is in the Shanghai Zoo. What can she see?
B. HongWei is thirsty; she wants to buy something to drink.
C. Show and learn the dialogue: 鈥斺斺, please.
鈥斺擧ere you are.
D. Learn and read 鈥渕oney鈥.
E. Learn and understand the dialogue: 鈥斺擧ow much?
鈥斺斺 yuan.

F. Read and understand the whole text. Read together.
