  Step1: Warming up

  Hello, boys and girls.

  Let鈥檚 say the chant: bus, bus, my bus. (T shows the picture one by one)

  Ss say: car, car, my car.

  Taxi, taxi, my taxi.

  Bike, bike, my bike.

  Step2: Presentation

  1.1) T: Good, let鈥檚 listen to the tape recorder: I like my bike.

  T: What do you catch?

  Ss: I like my bike. (T writes down on the blackboard.)

  2) T: Look, b-b-bike. Here 鈥渋ke鈥 pronounce鈥

  Some Ss may say.

  So like pronounce鈥 (some ss may say鈥Γ

  T: good. Like, like, please read after me.

  3) Ss read several times. And can you tell me what does 鈥渓ike鈥 mean?

  Ss may say in Chinese.

  T: Yes, you鈥檙e right. It has the similar meaning with the word 鈥渓ove鈥

  2. Anything else do you catch?

  Ss may keep silence.

  T: Ok, now open your English book, turn to page 24, and read after the tape recorder.

  Read together.

  Read by themselves.

  3. What letters can you see in the rhyme?

  Ss: capital and small letter I, small letter 鈥渆鈥潱

  1)Can you make your own rhyme? Please discuss, then give the presentation.

  2) show time.

  Listen and respond.
